Zhaga enjoys successful shows in Taiwan and Germany

Posted on Friday April 18 2014, by Tim Whitaker

The Zhaga Consortium enjoyed a strong presence at two leading tradeshows for the global lighting industry, namely the Taiwan International Lighting Show (TILS) in Taipei, Taiwan ROC, and Light+Building in Frankfurt, Germany.

Zhaga’s participation at TILS was made possible thanks to excellent cooperation with Zhaga’s liaison partner TLFEA – the Taiwan Lighting Fixture Export Association – as well as TAITRA, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council.

Zhaga was very honoured to have a visit to its booth by Mr. Wu Den-Yih, Vice President of the Republic of China (ROC), along with other dignitaries, on the opening day of the exhibition (see photo).

As shown in the photos on our TILS page, Zhaga member companies provided product samples that were used in a special demonstration area.

Zhaga also participated in a seminar program that was very well received. The seminar presentations can be downloaded from our TILS page.

At Light+Building, visitors were able to view many examples of Zhaga-based products at the booths of individual companies, as shown in our Light+Building photo gallery.

Products included Trilux’s Viatana, an outdoor luminaire which is certified according to Book 4; several newly-certified Book 6 holders; and a wide assortment of Book 3, Book 4 and Book 7 modules, among others.

Zhaga also hosted a series of seminars, covering subjects such as testing and certification, as well as detailed overviews of Books 4 and 7. The presentations are available on our Light+Building page.
