Zhaga appoints marketing communications manager

The Zhaga Consortium, an industry-wide group of companies that is creating specifications to enable the interchange of LED light engines made by different manufacturers, has appointed Tim Whitaker as its Marketing Communications Director.

Tim’s main role will be to help communicate the benefits of using Zhaga’s specifications, both inside and outside the consortium, in order to build consensus for Zhaga’s aims and vision (see www.zhagastandard.org/about-us for more information).

Tim is the founder and former editor of LEDs Magazine, a trade publication covering the technology and applications of LEDs. He has written extensively about the LED industry for over 10 years, and has also been involved in various industry events and conferences, notably Strategies in Light Europe.
