Number of Zhaga certifications reaches the 200 mark

The number of products in the Zhaga Certified Products Database has now exceeded 200. The most recent additions to the database are several Book 7 LED modules from Osram Opto Semiconductors.

Earlier this month, the Engineering Research Centre for Optoelectronics of Guangdong Province became the first company based in mainland China to achieve Zhaga certification for its products (see News article).

The Zhaga certification procedure involves testing by independent third-party test labs to confirm that a product is fully compliant with all the requirements of a specific Zhaga Book. Certified products are the only ones allowed to carry the Zhaga logo.

The Zhaga Certified Products Database shows all the products that have been certified by Zhaga. Any product that is not listed is not certified.

The Database is currently being updated to allow a much more comprehensive search capability, providing easy access to products with the required properties.

The Database contains 17 LED luminaires that have been certified according to Books 2, 3 and 4.

It also contains 19 holders for socketable LED light engines (LLEs) from Books 2, 6 and 8, as well as 21 such LLEs.

The remaining products are LED modules from Books 3, 4 and 7.
