11th Zhaga meeting

The 11th Zhaga meeting was held in Traunreut, Germany, and hosted by Siteco.

80 representatives of 41 companies participated in the meeting.

Some of the topics of discussion were:

  • uniformity metrics for spotlight- and streetlight engines
  • procedures for testing compliance with Zhaga specifications
  • planning of prototype testing
  • analysis of the test results of light engine prototypes

The Zhaga members decided to start work on the specification of an LED Light Engine for indoor use. The new light engine has a rectangular shape and one indoor luminaire may contain several of these rectangualr modules.
