Zhaga Special Meeting in Shanghai - May 2014
On May 14, 2014, the Zhaga Consortium hosted a special one-day meeting in Shanghai, PR China, which was co-located with Zhaga's own member meeting. The special event was open to members (both regular as well as associate) and non-members alike.
The meeting was attended by various representatives from industry, government and academia in China.

The Special Event was opened by Musa Unmehopa, Secretary General of Zhaga, who gave a presentation entitiled "Zhaga - A Reliable Partner for Industry Success".
The presentation explains Zhaga's position as an open industry collaboration between companies, driven by a strong market focus. Also, liaisons and partnerships arrangements with other industry associations are very important to Zhaga's progress.
The presentation also explains that Zhaga has thorough processes and principles based on detailed technical analyis and rigorous studies.
After reviewing the current status of Zhaga's work, the presentation also gives a glimpse of some of the next steps that Zhaga will take.

Special meeting 2013
In June 2013, Zhaga held its first-ever meeting in mainland China, in Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan province. The consortium also hosted a special meeting for non-members and honoured guests from China's lighting industry.
