Certification and Testing

Zhaga certification indicates that a product has been tested by an independent test lab, and is fully compliant with all the requirements of one of the Zhaga Books.

The use of a Zhaga logo on a product indicates that certification has been achieved. The logo conveys the meaning of interchangeability.

All Zhaga-certified products are listed in the Certified Products database. The listed products are the only ones entitled to carry the Zhaga logo.

Testing Centers

The following companies are Authorized Testing Centers:

Each company can apply for its test facilities to receive authorization to carry out Zhaga testing.

A separate authorization is required for each Book and each location (see the full list under "TEST LABS FOR ZHAGA BOOKS")

Testing for compliance with Zhaga specifications is carried out by independent test labs that have been authorized by Zhaga.

Becoming an Authorized Test Lab

Companies that operate one or more test labs can become an Authorized Testing Center, provided that (a) they are a member of Zhaga, and (b) they own and/or control one or more testing facilities that are accredited by an accreditor that is a full member of ILAC MRA.

Subsequently, individual test labs owned by an Authorized Testing Center must receive separate authorization.
