79 representatives of 38 companies participated in the discussions.

First Zhaga specification approved by Zhaga's general assembly

During this meeting, the Zhaga Consortium approved the first light engine specification. A Socketable LED light engine with integrated control gear.

This specification describes the interfaces of a downlight engine. These specifications are currenly available for review by members only. The specification will be made available for public download later this year.

New work group for compact socketable light engine

The consortium started a new work group for specifying the interfaces for a compact socketable light engine with integrated control gear.

Other interface specifications

Separate work groups are developing specifications for the interfaces of:

• A spotlight engine (non-socketable with separate control gear)
• A streetlight engine (non-socketable with separate control gear)
• A spotlight engine (socketable with separate control gear)
• The mechanical dimensions and fixation points of LED control gear.
