12th Zhaga meeting

The 12th Zhaga meeting was held in Suwon, Korea, and hosted by Samsung LED.

80 representatives of 42 companies participated in the meeting.

Some of the topics of discussion were:

  • procedures for testing compliance with Zhaga specifications
  • uniformity measurement of light emitting surfaces
  • thermal testing of luminaires with multiple light engines

The Zhaga members approved the 3rd Zhaga specifications. This specification describes the interface of a socketable light engine. The control gear of this spotlight engine is located in a separate housing.
